Roasted Brussel Sprouts
Most people have a love -hate relationship with these little green cabbage like veggies. I am of the belief it is only because they have not had ROASTED sprouts.
If you have never tried these little gems prepared with a dash of olive oil, and black pepper I encourage you to be brave and give them a second chance!
Friends your vegetable game is about to change….
Roasted Brussel Sprouts
1 1/2 lbs of brussel sprouts
3 Tablespoons good olive oil
1/4 teaspoon kosher salt
1/2 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Cut off the brown ends of the sprouts and pull off any yellowing outer leaves. Mix them in a bowl with the olive oil, salt and pepper. Pour them on a sheet pa and roast for 35-40 minutes until crisp on the outside and tender on the inside. Shake the pan from time to time to brown the sprouts evenly.
Sprinkle with more kosher salt… they are extra yummy when they are salty like french fries…. serve immediately.
Enjoy.
Congratulations!
