Plug Your Energy Zappers-Coach Tip of the Week
Do you ever feel too tired to get things done? Are you tolerating stuff that simply bugs you?
Write down all the things you are tolerating or those which simply just bug you; believe it or not these things, big or small chip away at your serenity and steal joy from your life!
Think dripping faucet .
Think the basket of socks without friends you keep because “someday” you hope their buddy will show up.
List the clutter on your dining room table, the over flowing laundry in the hallway, the lack of money in your checkbook, the inbox with 4,762 unread emails or the clothes in your closet you haven’t worn in two years because they don’t fit you and (big sigh) may not fit you before they go out of style!
Be brave and list the big things like the kids not going to sleep early enough for you to have time for yourself, some of your spouse’s habits which bother you but you haven’t found a way to nicely tell them… or the one way friendship you have held onto perhaps far too long.
Are you getting the idea? Not all of them can or will change. But, just writing it down can be a powerful exercise in getting them out of your brain and onto paper. Write down what would be different if you had a magic wand to whisk away whatever you would like to never- never land!
This is your “bugging me” list.
Now
choose
one or two
and
tackle them.

Once you start eliminating what you are putting up with you will begin to see just how much energy those petty annoyances were taking form you!
