Blooming in Hard Places

These wildflowers bloom and grow through seemingly impossible circumstances. The soil is rocky, harsh, and without moisture.
Still, they grow. Still, they bloom. Still, they are beautiful.
There are days I feel a lot like these little plants.
So many things feel harsh and difficult.
Yet, I am reminded deep within of God’s promises. He knows all of me. He sees my value when the words of others feel crushing.
Friend, we have choices. We can give up and fade away or keep pressing through and in.
God has created you and me for a purpose and a plan.
Don’t let those around you who through word and deed says you are not enough, or you are too much or you are worthless.
My friend, God has planted you for such a time as this. Bloom, press through, embrace your beauty and the right now of this day.
He’s got you. He sees you. He is with you.
Are you someone who needs to hear these words today?
Are they a whisper to the deep places of your soul?
May God bless you and keep you this day.
May his grace and peace surround you.
May the voices which shout “not enough” be silenced.
May you rest in the one who has your name written on his hands.
You are wholly and completely loved.
